Call for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
IDA is seeking to identify the expertise of subject matter experts (SMEs) by domain of professional practice who are willing to volunteer their time, talent and expertise to collaborate with industry professionals. We envision IDA member SMEs being asked to consider opportunities for education program development, providing expert testimony to policymakers, giving media interviews, serving on advisory panels, providing initial peer to peer counsel, topical brief development, speaking assignments and being asked to support various aspects of LPM certification.
Qualifications to Participate
IDA is looking to identify members with 7-10 years of industry knowledge, education and real-world experience within a specific domain of professional practice. You can view in depth descriptions of each domain HERE. Please note, to apply, you must be an IDA member in good standing.
The Commitment
Once subject matter experts are identified, the level of commitment will vary based on IDA’s needs throughout the year. Selected individuals will be included in a subject matter expertise database and may be contacted as opportunities arise. Most work will be conducted remotely, and participation is voluntary and unpaid. This opportunity may offer valuable networking with industry colleagues.
